Mr. Philip Cheng, President
Mr. Philip Cheng, a director and president of the Company, is a HKSAR passport holder. He holds a master’s degree in both Business Administration and Business Economics. Currently Mr. Cheng serves as a director of Broadata (H.K.) Limited, Kaifa Technology (H.K.) Limited, and Kaistar Lighting (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. He is also the chairman of the board of Country Lighting (BVI) Co., Ltd. In November 1989 Mr. Cheng was successively appointed vice president and senior vice president of the Company. With effect from May 2010 he served as the president of the Company. Since April 1990 Mr. Cheng has served as a director of the board and the president of the Company for seven consecutive sessions. He was re-elected as a director of the eighth session of the board of the Company and the president of the Company in April 2016.
Mr. Zhujiang Chen, Executive Vice President
Mr. Zhujiang Chen， Kaifa's executive vice president, and legal counsel. Mr. Chen is a Chinese citizen. He graduated from the Department of Electrochemistry at Tianjin University and holds a master’s degree from the Business School of Jilin University. He currently holds several titles, including engineer, economist, and senior manager. Mr. Chen is currently the chairman of the following companies: Chongqing Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.; Chengdu Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd and Shenzhen City Kemei Technology Company Limited. In addition, he holds the position of director at the following companies: Suzhou Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd; Shenzhen Kaifa Magnetic Recording Co., Ltd.; Kaifa Technology (H.K.) Limited; Hainan Kaifa Technology Limited; Payton Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd; Shenzhen Kaifa Precision Technology Co., Ltd; Dongguan Industrial Park Co., Ltd.; Kaifa Magnetics (HK) Limited; and O-Net Communications (Shenzhen) Limited. Previously, he was a director and general manager of Shenzhen Huaming Computer Co., Ltd, as well as secretary to the chairman and deputy director of the office of the Chairman at China Great Wall Computer (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. In January 2005 he was appointed vice president of the Company for the first time. In February 2016 he was appointed a director of the Company for the first time. In April 2016 he was re-elected as a director for the eighth session of the board and the vice president of the Company.
Mr. HR Yu, Executive Vice President
Mr. HR Yu is a Chinese citizenand a vice president of the Company. Mr. Yu obtained an engineering degree inForging and Pressing at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Xi’an JiaotongUniversity. Currently, Mr. Yu is the chairman of Shenzhen Kaifa PrecisionTechnology Limited. He is also the director of Huizhou Kaifa Technology Co.,Ltd.; Dongguan Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.; Suzhou Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.;Shenzhen Kaifa (Suzhou) Electronics Limited; Hainan Kaifa Technology Limited; ShenzhenKaifa Electronics Maintenance Limited; Shenzhen Kaifa Magnetic Recording Co.,Ltd., and Chongqing Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd. He previously served as theShenzhen GM of Productions and Operations, and Communication and ConsumerElectronics Business Unit. He also was the general manager of Suzhou KaifaTechnology Co., Ltd. Mr. Yu held various positions at the magnetic head factoryof the Company, including general manager, senior manager, engineering manager,and chief engineer. Prior to joining Kaifa he worked as a senior engineer orengineer at other companies, such as Guangzhou Longhui Computer MagneticsLimited and CNPC Baoji Oilfield Machinery Co., Ltd. He is a current exeutive vice president of the company.
Mr. Shangyun Mo, Executive Vice President
Mr. Shangyun Mo is a Chinese citizen and a vice president and CFO of the Company. Mr. Mo studiedcorporate finance at the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Science under the Ministryof Finance. He holds a master’s degree in economics. He is also a senioraccountant and registered accountant. Currently he is serving as the chairmanof Shenzhen Kaifa Micro-Electronics Co., Ltd.; Shenzhen Kaifa Trading Limited;Shenzhen Kaifa Electronics Maintenance Limited; and Payton Technology(Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. He is also a director of the following companies: HainanKaifa Technology Limited; Suzhou Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.; Dongguan KaifaTechnology Co., Ltd.; Huizhou Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.; Shenzhen Kaifa(Suzhou) Electronics Limited; Dongguan Chitwing Technology Co., Ltd.; ShenzhenCity Kemei Technology Company Limited; Shenzhen Kaifa Precision TechnologyLimited; Shenzhen Kaifa Technology (Chengdu) Co., Ltd., and Chongqing KaifaTechnology Co., Ltd. He previously worked as a senior manager at the FinanceDepartment of the Company. He was also the finance manager at Dapeng NetworkCompany Limited and Shenzhen Overglobe Development Co., Ltd. He was also thecomptroller of Shekou Longdian Industries Limited. Mr. Mo served as a financedirector of Tong Guang Nortel Ltd. as well as assistant to the comptroller ofHunan Zhuzhou Torch Company Limited. In October 2004 he became the chieffinancial controller of the Company. He is a current executive vice president of the company.
Ms. Gan Cai, Pesident of The Labor Union
Ms.Gan Cai is the president of the labor union of the company. Ms.Gan Cai, with Chinese nationality, who was a high-level political engineer graduated from Jilin University with a master’s degree majoring in business management, serves as the supervisor. At present she holds the president of the labor union of the company as well as a deputy to the 7th People’s Congress of Futian District, Shenzhen. She served as the director of office (Huaming Resources Department), assistant of general manager, secretary of the board of directors, deputy general manager and secretary of general party branch of Shenzhen Huaming Computer Co., Ltd. She joined the company in 2014 and served as the employee supervisor of the company for the first time in November 2016.
Mr. Xiaobo Ma, Assistant President
Mr. Xiaobo Ma, an assistant to thepresident of the Company, a Chinese citizen. Mr. Ma studied precision machiningand equipment at the Department of Precision Machinery, Xi’an TechnologicalUniversity and obtained a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Mr. Ma is currently the chairman of Guilin Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd.; Huizhou Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd., and Guilin Kaifa TechnologyCo., Ltd. He holds the position of director at Chongqing Kaifa Technology Co.,Ltd. He is currently in charge of the Business Development, the Commercial andIndustrial Business Unit, Communication and Consumer Electronics Business Unit.Previously he was a vice president of Dongguan Chitwing Technology Co., Ltd.Mr. Ma also served as a director of HuaXu Golden CardCorporation Limited. At our Company, Mr. Ma was general manager and deputygeneral manager of our electronics factory and network equipment factory,respectively. In addition, he served as a deputy general manager and productiondirector of Shenzhen Kaifa Micro-Electronics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen KaifaMagnetic Recording Co., Ltd, respectively. He held two positions at ourmagnetic head factory, namely, manager and engineer of the Department ofProcessing. Furthermore, he was an engineer at Inner Mongolia North HeavyIndustries Group Corp. Ltd. (formerly known as Inner Mongolia Second MachineryManufacturing Factory). As a result, he accumulated extensive experience inmarket expansion and manufacturing management in the electronics manufacturingsector. In July 2014 he was appointed assistant to the president of theCompany.
Mr. James Zhang, Assistant President
Mr. James Zhang is a Canadian citizen and currently the assistant to the president of the Company. Mr. Chang obtained his master in electronics and electrical engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and he later obtained a doctorate in electronics communications at the Helsinki University of Technology. Currently he is in charge of the technical research and centralized laboratory and the automation equipment division of the Company. He was previously a vice president and director of Shenzhen Everwin Precision Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Chang was also a procurement director and a vice president of TCL Communication Technology. In Canada he worked as a senior engineering researcher and technical consultant for Nortel Networks and BMS, respectively. In Finland he was a radio frequency design engineer for Nokia. In May 2015 he was appointed assistant to the president of the Company.
Mr. Allen Chang, Assistant President
Mr. Allen Chang, assistant to the president of the company, nationality of China (Taiwan), graduated from National Taiwan University and obtained a master's degree in agricultural mechanical engineering. He is currently in charge of Kaifa headquarters’ smart technology center, worldwide supporting center, new product introduction center, as well as overseas subsidiaries in Thailand, the Philippines, the United States and Singapore. Mr. Chang used to be the operation director of Foxconn, manufacturing manager of Toshiba, president of CRTC Technology Co., Ltd., and QA manager of Texas Instruments. He has been serving as assistant to the president of the company since January 2018.
Mr. Young Chee Yu, Assistant President
Mr. Young Chee Yu, assistant to the president of the company, nationality ofMalaysia, graduated from Ohio University and obtained a bachelor's degree ofScience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BScEE). He is currently incharge of Kaifa’s overseas subsidiary in Singapore and Malaysia. Mr. Yu used tobe the VP ofExcelStor Technology Shenzhen Ltd., the executive director and plant manager ofSeagate Prai Malaysia and Seagate Wuxi. respectively, and the engineeringdirector of Seagate Shenzhen, senior engineering manager, senior equipmentengineer and process engineer of Seagate Singapore. He has been serving asassistant to the president of the company since Jul. 2018.
Ms. Min Cao, Assistant President
Ms. Min Cao, an assistant to the president of the Company, a Chinese citizen, obtained a master's degree in accounting and national senior account. She studied economic law and public relations of Chengdu University, accounting major at graduate institute of Xiamen University and enterprise finance and investment management major of Hongkong University. Mrs. Cao is studying as a law postgraduate in Naikai University. She is currently in charge of Management Office, Legal Affairs Department. She once worked as assistant accountant, accountant, finance senior executive, finance senior manager and assistant financial controller. Mrs. Cao previously served as a vice president, chief financial controller and board secretary of Dongguan Chitwing Technology Co., Ltd. She used to be the associate general counsel of the Company, the general manager of Chongqing Kaifa Technology Co., Ltd. respectively. She is serving as assistant to the president of the company.
